MTR Foods - General Manager - Supply Chain (12-18 yrs)
Job Responsibilities :
- To establish resulted oriented team having the ability to drive efficiency in complex situation.
- To build SNOP capability to have high OTIF and stock freshness.
- To design and implement IT enabled supply chain.
- To build a strong Centralised Procurement systems.
- To develop efficient export logistics.
- To build a cost efficient and high quality supplier network.
- Responsible for inventory management involving demand forecasting, procurement planning, production planning and finished goods distribution to ensure optimization of working capital on account of inventories.
- Responsible for developing a procurement strategy ensuring least cost of procurement.
- Responsible for implementing Supplier Relationship Management with key vendors.
- Responsible for driving rejection control programme collaborating with vendors and quality team.
- Responsible for setting up systems and review mechanism to ensure on time and launch of new products.
- Responsible for establishing efficient SNOP resulting in high OTIF and freshness of stock.
- Responsible for creating budgets for procurement and logistics and ensuring adherence.
- Responsible for coaching and mentoring the team to performance oriented culture.
- Responsible for realigning distribution network post GST implementation.
- Responsible for developing a customer centric logistics operations.
- Responsible for developing a review system that promotes efficiency and improves overall functional performance.
- To ensure efficient SNOP system is built in the organisation.
- To ensure continuous cost optimization programme identified and delivered as per targets.
- To ensure least costs procurement.
- To ensure there is a development of the team for them to assume higher responsibilities.
- To ensure there is continuous optimization in the working capital locked up in the system.

- Cost Improvements (Target vs. achievement).
- Buying Effectiveness.
- Cost Control (budget vs. actual).
- Inventory Target.
- Customer Service Index.
- Development of the Team.
Desired Education & Experience :
- Engineer with a PG Diploma/ MBA in operations would be preferred.
- 12+ years of industry experience in manufacturing preferably in foods.
- Worked at different levels in Supply Chain (planning, Logistics, procurement).
- 3 years of Supply Chain Leadership experience.
- Worked with change management.
- Must have worked for a professionally managed and run organisation.
