MTR Foods - Head - Product Development (12-16 yrs)
Executing new projects from concept to Pilot and then commercial stage at appropriate pace to Market through collaborative effort.
-  Process Innovation (Developing new processes) to meet emerging issues in food safety and challenges from importing countries viz. USA, JAPAN.etc.
  Drive : Open Innovation policy-  through vendors, group companies & employees from other departments.
 Knowledge Building and Management :  on traditional authentic Indian Recipes on the MTR product portfolio. 
PD Budget : Responsibilities include developing an Annual Budget plan for all the resources which include Manpower, Capital expenditure & Revenue Expenditure. Adherence to Annual R&D Budget expenditure in bringing out all the Innovation/Renovation projects is a key area.
Process Ownership : Responsible and Instrumental for driving - Stage Gate Innovation Process-  and following the SOPs and if required, bringing out amendment from time to time for meeting and smooth execution of the Innovation process. 
 Technical Guidance to Managers/Executives : Providing a strong R&D leadership role in creating and maintaining Technical Know-hows for all product categories (Thermal processing, Frozen, Unit operations of food processing) viz. RTE, Instant Mixes(Breakfast & snacks), Spices, Pickles, Ice creams, Vermicelli, Macaroni, Flavored milk drinks, etc. in making final product development  across categories.
-  Closely working with Marketing Team and capturing the insights and feedback, while effectively linking international innovations that matter in making a difference to the business.
-  Closely working with Recipe Development team for smoother and faster development and renovation of products.
-  Working closely with packaging development team to ensure that the packaging innovations on the category are delivered meeting all norms. 
-  Strong process orientation -  In plant process that help operations conceive the relationship between an agreed process and quality.
-  Strong understanding on the agro origin raw materials, storage practices and varietal validation process to support the NPD Agenda. 
-  Closely working with Purchase Team for development and revision of RM specifications for NPD, Renovation and cost-saving projects.
-  Effectively be a quality leader and help ensure Quality produce working closely with both SCM (OFSS Standard adherence) and operations, while actively communicating to the stakeholders -  Marketing, Manufacturing & Technology. 
-  Build technical strengths in newer emerging technical areas of Authentic traditional Indian foods category while working with a group of food technologists & Chef(s).
-  Act as a facilitator in :  Quality Enabling-  by providing  support to  - Operations  Development-  on quality.
