MULTI SKILLED TECHNICIAN

- Carry out and ensure planned preventative maintenance (PPM) is completed on all relevant equipment daily, weekly, monthly and as planned

- Maintenance of electrical installations and associated equipment

- Installation of electrical systems and associated equipment

- Respond to all reactive maintenance within the specified service level agreements

- Assist in the preparation of estimates / quotations as required

- Responsibility for allocated work orders from receipt to completion

- Provide progress reports on allocated work orders

- Immediately notify the supervisor of any safety issues or concerns. Maintain a safe place of work

- Adhere to all regulations in respect of electricity at work

- Adhere to the electrical department quality management system

- Strong teamwork ethic and promotion of customer service excellence

- Record keeping and produce detailed work reports, as required

- Flexible availability for 24/7 standby duties and emergency call outs

- Respond to electrical emergencies within the agreed time-frames

- Carry out, to the best of your ability, all tasks assigned by the supervisor or manager

- Always maintain a clean and tidy appearance. Uniform must be worn and should be clean and in a good state of repair

- Comply with all processes and procedures (Human Resources, HSEQ, Finance, Information Technology, Procurement, Operations) which include compliance with all applicable rules and regulations of the local labour law

- Minimum technical certificate or diploma in electrical or relevant qualification
