Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of outbound staff, including supervisors and warehouse personnel.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing training and development to team members.
Operational Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day outbound processes, including order picking, packing, and shipping.
- Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment while maintaining high standards of quality.
Process Optimization:
- Analyze and improve outbound processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to streamline operations.
Coordination and Communication:
- Collaborate with the inventory, procurement, and customer service teams to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues.
- Maintain effective communication with carriers and logistics partners to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
Performance Monitoring:
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to outbound operations.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve performance targets and address any performance gaps.
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment by adhering to safety protocols and conducting regular inspections.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in outbound operations or logistics management, preferably in an e-commerce environment.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing a team.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
