National Head - Technical - Textile Labs (15-25 yrs)
- The National Head holds responsibility for strategic and operational planning of Gurgaon Lab, and also managing Technical aspects of Textiles Lab across India.
- She/He will be responsible for managing operations of Textiles Lab and preparation of budgets, for a number of programs, projects within the departments.
- She/He plays an important role in supporting & enhancing the business. It is the National Head's responsibility to ensure practices and procedures reflect the company's values and goals.
- S/He would be mainly responsible for enhancing the business, and achieving smooth flow of business activities and customer satisfaction by building up processes so that Quality Services are provided in the field of textiles and effective management of laboratory in coordination with laboratory manager and building an efficient and effective team for providence of at par services to clients.
Job Responsibilities :
Strategic Planning for Textiles and keeping the team updated on all technical updates :
- Create a long term ambitious Objective statement in synchronization with existing strengths of Textiles department and existing opportunity for growth.
-Decide business expansion and enhancement strategies. & to liaise with overseas company Labs in HK, UK,USA for any client related technical queries
- Plan and create annual business plan for the textiles division.
- Decide measurable business parameters
- Achieve planned team objective through continuous monitoring and review the team performance and timely extension of support.
- Have proper resource planning and allocation & Manpower planning
- Identify potential customers/ clients for the services of the textiles in co-ordination with his team.
- Continuously work with his team for business development by identifying new opportunities and developing new services
Team Building and Talent acquisition for the textiles department :
- Continuously work in co-ordination with Human Resources for strengthening the division by talent acquisition in accordance with the need of the business.
- Create growth opportunities for performing team members
Process Evaluation and Re-engineering :
- Continuously monitor and evaluate processes and procedure to reduce inefficiencies and remove obstacles in service deliverance.
- Identify and analyze best industry practices
- Document and communicate best practices to support the implementation
- Support industry networking to augment learning of the team
- Ensure communication intended to inform or update others regarding procedural changes, new information, or progress.
- Support management in any special project or any initiatives.
Qualifications : B.E/B.Tech -Textiles, MBA in operations preferred
