Your responsibilities:
- Equipment Operation: Operate and monitor skid/testing equipment, machinery, and systems during assigned shifts to ensure optimal performance.
- Process Control: Monitor and control processes, adjusting parameters as needed to maintain efficiency, quality, and safety standards.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot operational issues, collaborating with maintenance teams to resolve equipment malfunctions promptly.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce and adhere to safety protocols and regulations, conducting regular safety inspections and taking corrective actions when necessary.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication with team members, supervisors, and other departments to relay important information and ensure a seamless transition between shifts.
- Record Keeping: Document operational activities, readings, and incidents in logbooks or computer systems, ensuring accurate and comprehensive records.
- Emergency Response: Respond to emergencies or abnormal situations, following established protocols to mitigate risks and protect personnel and equipment.
- Training: Assist in the training of new operators, sharing knowledge and best practices to ensure a skilled and knowledgeable workforce.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor product quality and adherence to specifications, taking corrective actions to address deviations and maintain product integrity.
- Equipment Maintenance: Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule and perform routine maintenance on equipment during scheduled downtimes.
Skills you will need:
Must have:
- Chemical Engineering Degree/ Diploma Preferred.
- 1-2 yrs. experience in a similar role within an industrial setting.
Should have:
- Familiarity with operating and monitoring equipment, control systems, and field instrumentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick and informed decisions.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
