Role: NPD Engineer

Experience:3 to 5 Yrs.

Industry: Aerospace/Automotive/Heavy Industry

Location: Hitech City, Hyderabad

Responsibilities:

1.Utilize expertise in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, and Material Science to conduct data-driven development, optimization, and evaluation of designs to meet customer and business needs.

2.Define and implement specifications, working parameters, and test methods using current best practice engineering methods and technologies.

3.Collaborate closely with internal and external specialty resources to ensure robust component design and address complex design issues.

4.Generate clear and concise documentation of requirements, protocols, evaluations, reports, etc., throughout all phases of research and development.

5.Work collaboratively with other engineering teams to define and meet product requirements.

6.Prepare concept designs and conduct feasibility studies for complex engineering projects.

7.Develop and maintain detailed project and validation plans.

8.Coordinate product validation testing and conduct post-test analysis.

Qualifications:

1.BTech -Mechanical Engineering/Aerospace Engineering/Automotive Engineering

2.Proficiency in CAD tools: Catia V5, Siemens Nx.

3.Experience in handling Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA), and Design Verification Planning and Reporting (DVPR).

4.Knowledge and experience in Concept Development, Prototyping, and Benchmark Testing.

5.Familiarity with component change management processes.

6.Good understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and stack-up analysis.

7.Knowledge of various manufacturing processes.

8.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

9.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

10.Experience with project management tools and methodologies is a plus.
