Designation Senior CAE Engineer Reporting to Lead - CAE (Simulations, Virtual Testing)

2. Design Innovation Lab: This is a Maker Space EV Lab, with hardware and software related to a pre-production stage - for use by EV startups.

3. The Product team: This group would redesign a two and three-wheel form factor, for B2B last mile logistics firms.

4. Last Mile Logistics team: This is a pure EV Fleet catering to the B2B last mile logistics sector

5. M-Labs: This would focus on pure science research projects related to EV - with longer gestation periods.

Purpose of the job/Job Overview :

- Numeros Motors is developing 2W, 3W/4W electric vehicle to cater to B2B segment in Indian / International market. The purpose of the job is to work on CAE simulations to aid in accelerated product development.

- Should be working on different kinds of CAE simulations to evaluate different subsystems virtually. Should be coordinating with other cross functional teams and will be part of Numeros CAE Team.

Key Accountabilities/Duties & Responsibilities :

- You will be part of the CAE simulations team and working on various kinds of simulations to support in the accelerated product development at different gateways.

- You will be working on different kinds of simulations and are expected to learn the relevant tools at a quick pace - Linear, Non-linear, Contacts, vibrations, fatigue, crash etc.

- You will have a chance to work in different domains

- Durability, MBD, NVH, Crash

- Not just performing the simulations, should help the design team to improve on the design by providing suitable design suggestions, recommendations.

- You should have a flair for effective product design and innovative ideas - using optimization techniques to create light weight designs, improve the correlation of CAE models with physical test results, help in making a robust and reliable products

- Exposure/familiar with 2 wheeler industry is a plus.

- Having an understanding of EV vehicles & subsystems and their functioning is desired.

- Exposure to python scripting, AI/ML techniques will be an added advantage.

Essential Qualification :

Education Level : B.E/B.Tech

Experience :

- Familiarity with CAE process and tools

1. Have studied a course in FEM, have some understanding of CAE simulations & familiar with any CAE software.

2. Have studied a course in Automotive engg OR have good understanding of automotive vehicles - 2W, 4 W etc.

3. Strong knowledge in Mechanical engineering concepts & fundamentals
