Job Summary : Functional safety engineer for Electric Vehicle application like Battery, Chargers, Motor controller, Telematics, Vehicle control units etc.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Define functional safety requirements specifications

- Assessment of ASIL rating

- Perform HARA and defining Safety goal

- Perform FTA and D-FMEA

- Define functional safety verification and validation plan

- Define and assess FSR, TSR, FSC

- Software requirements and traceability

Experience & Skills : 4~8 years of experience as Functional safety engineer

Must have :

-Good understanding of ISO 26262

- Understanding of traceability

- Experience in automotive domain in development

- Good experience in functional safety

- Good experience in implementation of software development and testing as per ISO 26262 standards

Tools classification and qualification :

- Understanding of ASPICE development process

- Understanding of SW testing as per ISO 26262 requirements

- Unit level testing procedure

- Should have good programming skills. ( Python, C, VB, CAPL, m-script any 2 of them is mandatory)

- Hands on experience of Issue reporting and tracking tools like JIRA, DOORS

- Experience with requirements analysis and test case traceability,

- Test result analysis and fixing the model (if required)

- Knowledge of Autosar software development

- Vehicle data analysis via automation (filtering, categorization)

Desired :

- Experience in various communication protocols such as CAN (ISO 11898), CAN FD,RS232

- Understands testing scope as per ISO 26262

- Knowledge of HIL (dSpace/Vector VT system preferred)

- Exposure of vector tools (CANoe, CANAPE)

- Basic understanding of diagnostics (UDS)

- Experience in analyzing of CAN traces and generating analysis reports. o Knowledge of OSEK Network Management

- Knowledge of Autosar Network Management

- Automotive industry experience strongly desired

- Experience with Jira, Confluence and Agile Software Development is desired.

- Ability to work autonomously

- Excellent presentation skills

Qualifications : B Tech/ M Tech in Electronics/CS
