OnGrid - IT Support Engineer (2-6 yrs)
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Installing and configuring employees' computer systems.
- Responding to employees' IT support requests.
- Discussing with Vendors to diagnose software, networking, or hardware issues.
- Maintain IT hardware Asset registry
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network configuration
- Providing technical support on organization premises or via remote-access systems.
- Ensure employees' systems comply with organization policy for organization data security using tools like Antivirus, DLP systems, and endpoint security.
- Monitor security threats coming from Antivirus and DLP systems, ensure resolve and inform management about them.
- Secure asset disposal.
- Research and implementation of software Offering solutions that meet the needs of the organization
- Repairing hardware malfunctions, software issues, and networking problems.
- Maintain hardware assets. Tracking and managing work records.
- Working with vendors for different IT-related services like laptop repair, Office network issues, Antivirus, endpoint security, etc.
Desired Candidate profile:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology or computer science.
- Proven work experience as an IT Support Engineer, Network Administrator, Desktop Support Engineer, or similar role
- Hands-on experience on Windows, Mac, and Linux OS platforms.
- Experience working with Antivirus, DLP systems, network resources, and endpoint security.
- Understands and have knowledge of networking and office internet resources
- Knowledge of computer hardware.
- Good time management skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and good team player.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to think critically.
