Responsibilities :

- Support Complex Manager in implementing Pilgrims Management Method as an internal consultant;

- Responsible for the Management Pillar implementation. Main products/processes: like 5S (Housekeeping) Program, Standardization, Abnormalities Management, Goals (unfold and action plans)

- Provide for on-site management of Operational Excellence resources at Manufacturing Centre

- Ensure that the activities of Operational Excellence resources are in alignment with the strategic improvement plan

- Ensure the timely completion of projects and initiatives that move in the direction of VP Operations while helping achieve short- and long-term business objectives by collaborating with People to establish Operational Excellence direction

- Identify organizational, cultural and technical work necessary to deploy Operational Excellence principles, concepts and practices

- Coach Green and Black Belts through the DMAIC process

- Deploy Six Sigma/Lean approach in the Organisation ( Lean & VSM)

- Ensure progress versus the Production System assessment

- Ensure on-time delivery of savings to meet annual business commitments per Strategic Improvement Plans

- Act as advisor to all levels in regard to Operational Excellence principles, concepts, and practices

- Ensure standards are established and maintained pursuant to the deployment of Operational Excellence concepts and practices

- Identify the correct Operational Excellence methodology to improve manufacturing and business processes

- Teach Operational Excellence methodologies and principles to all team members and/or cross functional teams

- Maintain and improve existing procedures and processes

- Prepare reports and training materials in addition to technical reports

- Create and deliver education, training and coaching in a variety of methods : Classroom instruction, Hands-on exercises, Simulations, etc

- Act as subject matter expert locally for all Lean Methodologies and Principles Develop advanced level solutions for cross-functional problems

- Manage the Operational Excellence department and its resources Assess current knowledge level of Operational Excellence resources, identifies gaps and establishes plans

- Support the integration between Operational Excellence in Headquarter in Tupelo and other in Business Units

- Lead meetings to check the implementation and results;

- Train plant team in PDCA Method;

- Assure the accomplishment with 7 steps of PDCA Method for all gaps in the plant;

- Execute the DWR defined for this role and propose improvements;

Education/Experience:

- Must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field

- 20 years of experience deploying Lean Manufacturing

Job Competencies :

- Six Sigma Certified

- Must possess knowledge of Improvement and Coaching

- Experience in facilitating successful teams (Project, Functional, and Kaizen/Quality Circles/QIT)

- Must have expert understanding with experience in various facets of the manufacturing enterprise including manufacturing processes and its requirements, product engineering, logistics, quality management systems, production control and financing and how they correlate to each other

- Advanced skillset in Microsoft Office software, specifically spreadsheet and presentation applications (Excel and PowerPoint)
