Job Description :
1. JOB PURPOSE :
- Summarise in one statement why your job exists; and how it contributes to the overall mission / objective of the organisation.
- To run an efficient production centre, complying with all statutory, ESH and QMS standards adopted by the company, so as to manufacture and deliver products conforming to agreed quality and delivery standards. Procurement of material at competitive prices to ensure timely supply, while maintaining optimum inventory levels.
- Managing own operated warehouse incl. all related activities such as inbound, stocking and outbound as well as manage logistic service providers for warehousing and transportation in India.

OUTCOME :
1. Planning & Strategic Analyses
- Provide inputs for developing ABP
- Forecasting expenses and resources needed for ABP and monitoring thereof
- REVIEW capacity situation and outlook (FMTP)
- ABP approved by Board
- Budget plan approved by GM
- Strategic and investment plan
2. Production Management
- Head-count and capacity planning to achieve optimum production levels
- Define, implement and monitor efficient production processes by a set of KPI's
- Oversee Production Planning for pending orders and make-to-stock items.
- Apply 5s principle.
- Achieve Sales targets within budgeted costs
- Improved costs and service
- Continuous improvement plan
3. Process Control :
- Ensure compliance to defined process conditions to achieve quality and productivity Coordinate process improvements with QA and R&D
- Establish process reliability by using SPC
- Ensuring process optimizations.
- Reduetian in customer complaints/NCR
- Improvement in Productivity
4. Plant & Machinery Management
- Propose investment towards new assets and/or up gradation of existing assets Ensuring implementation of Preventive Maintenance to minimise machine down time
- Ensuring OEE
- Developing contingency plan for the production facilities .
- On Time delivery
- Reduction in cost of maintenance
- Improvement in Productivity OEE tracking for key equipment
- Contingency plan for man, machine and utilities
5. Adherence to Statutory regulations and adopted ESH standards
- Cigalise safety audits and training programs
- Ensure adherence to environmental standards
- Maintain safe and healthy working environment for company employees Ensure compliance to all applicable statutory requirements
- Reduction in accidents and near-misses
- Completion of defined number of safety audits and training programs
- Valid licenses to operate business activities in the production centre
6. QMS
- Ensuring system adherence to the standards Conducting MRM's on time and revisit the system adherence in line with QMS.
- MRM reports
- Quality certificates
7. Quality Management
- Maintain & improve Supplier Management Programme and conduct supplier audits
- Minimise material rejection at incoming and online stage
8. Purchase Management
- Developing and establishing 3 rd party supplied products
- Plan for what, how much, at what price and when to buy Supplier evaluation and development (identification, quotes, negotiate, deal)
- Issue purchase orders and follow up to ensure timely supply
- Timely supply of quality raw materials at competitive prices from approved vendors
- Pricing of 3rd party products as when required
9. Inventory Management
- Execute assortment review on a regular basis
- Periodic review of SMOG and coordinating liquidation with NSM's Paribas review of stock item levels
- Formulate purchase plan synchronized with production planning Establish stocking norms
- Coordination with Quality, Production and other departments
- Run monthly forecast process with Customer Service and Sales.
- Defined assortment and stock policy
- Achieve sales target within budgeted cost

18. Export Sales Management
- Ensures achievement of export sales target by coordinating with all export customers. Plan and coordinate with Production and Customer Service for exports as per orders Poordingie completion of export formalities with different agencies

11. Warehouse & Logistics Management
- Establish proper procedures for documentation, handling, inspection and storage of materials to comply with ESH standards adopted by Company To ensure that FIFO is followed for all materials and that all raw materials and packaging items are within their shelf life
- Manage own warehouse and Logistics provider by KPI's and regular meetings
OUTCOME :
- Maintain inventory write-offs within budget
- Accomplishment of ESH objectives
- KPI scorecard and service provider management
12. Shipping Operations
- Oversees an efficient, streamlined and cost effective shipment handling procedure
- Ensure proper import / export documentation and procedure in liaison with banks, forwarders, insurance company, authorities, Customs, DGFT, Excise as per statutory norms

- Min. 15 years of post-qualification manufacturing industry experience Must have worked for an international company with global presence before Strong managerial experience with a proven record of people development
- Equipped with project management skills
