Operations Manager - Agri (8-14 yrs)
Roles & Responsibilities includes :
- Lead pan India business operation of grains, oilseeds and cotton encompassing:
- Export operations in vessel in bulk, containers, border trade by road/rail
- Import and distribution operations
- Domestic operation includes origination, warehousing, transport by rail and road
- Supply chain and trade finance operations for business clients
- Supervise all activities involved in operations majorly includes logistics and transportation, stevedoring, warehousing, customs clearance, insurance, documentation, vendor appointment and management
- Work around Operational strategy and planning in line with business plan for seamless, efficient and safe execution of trade
- Implementing SOP and Operational Excellence - design, implement metrics and assess performance and mobilize improvements
- Lead and collaborate continuously with several national and global Food safety, quality and regulatory teams to ensure operations alignment with Companys standards
- Liaison with relevant government and regulatory departments to ensure compliance to different countries import/export regulations, taxes and other relevant legislation.
