Job Description/ Responsibilities:

LoP: Mangalore-Moodbidri.

Production:

- Daily and Monthly Production Planning

- Ensuring availability of Materials in time as per Production requirement

- To talk to Supplier as and when required for availability of material

- Keeping track of daily output and production as per priority

- Monitoring laser cutting and take decision on case to case basis for outsourcing

- Keeping track of all quality related issues and take it up with supplier for any issues

- Manage Customers calls

- Handling all IR issues that will crop up from time to time

- Taking care maintenance of all Machineries in Consultation with concerned person

- Coordination between and among other units for all Manufacturing activities.

- Monitoring laser mc performance on a monthly basis

- To monitor contractor performance

- To revise contractor rate after negotiation when required

- To maintain entire Plant in good condition, proper housekeeping, ensuring PPEs etc.

Purchase:

- Checking and signing of all Purchase order on daily basis

- Negotiation with supplier for any rate increase

- Understand the entire Cycle and ensure proper documentation for all incoming / outgoing material

- To ensure all inter unit issues get amicably sorted out

- To ensure proper documentation for all job work sent outside

- To ensure proper debit note is made to supplier as and when require

- To talk to supplier for any material related issues and get a win win solution

Dispatch:

- Dispatch planning as per priority and payment status

- To ensure Vehicle placement

- Rate Negotiation of vehicle for various locations

- Monitoring job progress and controlling OT as per requirement of dispatch team

- Handling all issues of loading/unloading contractors

- To talk to agencies and ensure container placement in time for all export consignments

- To ensure all export consignment get released within dead line Service

- To Handle all service related issues / ensure all replacement, short supply material reach site in time

- To have conf. call with team and cust. If required for all critical site issues

- To involve technical team for all site related issues

- To ensure correct allocation of service engg. as per site requirement and criticality and minimum downtime

- To ensure correct allocation of erection team as per site requirement and criticality

- Guiding, Checking and approving all types of service memos for material

- Checking and revising erection rate chart time to time based on market value

- Checking and approving all erection payment as per rate finalised

- Checking all job progress of various sites and approving payments on a daily basis

- To ensure any NP / ND / modification of existing product got implemented at site.

- To monitor leave status of service team and ensure that major no. do not go on leave simultaneously

- To speak to erection team as per criticality and requirement

- Monitoring service department overall performance

Stores & RM:

- To ensure proper material planning and scheduling as per production priority

- Ensure timely follow up with supplier and material to reach in time

- Ensure proper documentation for all incoming and outgoing materials

- Ensure proper documentation for all inter manufacturing unit material movement

- To ensure all spares are available before despatch, if not to follow up and ensure availability

- To ensure optimum inventory is maintained

- To monitor and ensure timely disposal of scrap

- To ensure proper gate entry of all incoming and outgoing materials

HR:

- To guide HR for all IR related issues of contractor / loader/unloader

- To ensure timely distribution of PPEs

- To negotiate / finalise and ensure timely payments of all insurance premium

- Managing all internal and external stakeholders

- To manage all canteen issues as related to employees

- To ensure proper upkeep of entire factory premises and ensure renovation as and when required

IT:

- To ensure all IT related issues are sorted out on time

- To ensure optimum cost for all IT related expense

Desired Profile of the Candidate:

- Candidates with good exposure in Production and Support function Operations.

- Should have 10+ yrs of experience in Purchase from a Heavy Fabrication/ Sheet Metal Industry with knowledge of entire gamut of SCM Dept.

- Strong oral and written communication skills

- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

- Ability to work Independently

- High energy, self-starter, with a proven track record in delivering results.

- Experience in Heavy Fabrication / Sheet Metal Industry.

- Candidates preferably into similar Product line like RiceMill/Food Machinery.
