BOPP Control Room Operator

- Monitor plant equipment to ensure proper operation and identify developing trends.

- Quickly respond and take corrective action to plant alarms.

- Ensure work orders are written on faulty or unsafe equipment.

- Perform PM inspections as required.

- Monitor and maintain operating levels in equipment.

- Operate the facility in a safe and efficient manner.

- Perform daily reporting activities.

- Perform daily and real time dispatch functions.

- Coordinate shift maintenance and operations activities.

- Must be capable of starting up and safely shutting down.

- Must have a thorough understanding of all plant systems.

- Must be able to clearly, accurately and orderly convey timely information required for reliable and safe operations.

- Must be capable of filling out the daily plant log sheets and logbook.

- Must be able to perform trouble shooting when necessary.

Qualification And Experience :

1. Diploma Holder with 5-8 years- Operator experience in a BOPP Plant & technical training and previous success in performing technical functions in a BOPP plant environment.

2. Ability to understand DCS and PLC ladder logic.

3. Ability to run trends to proactively diagnose potential issues.

4. Ability to learn the principles and operations of power plant equipment.

5. Ability to understand and read mechanical and electrical drawings such as P&ID- s, single line diagrams, schematics and logic's.

6. Ability to operate valves, switches, controls, keyboards and other devices associated with power plant and material handling equipment, as well as basic hand, portable and pneumatic tools and basis rigging equipment.
