Orbit Exports - Head - Production Planning Control (8-10 yrs)

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Based on Order intake from Sales personnel and Merchandiser work out the production plan.

2. Work out the resource planning to manage and complete the production schedule in given timeline.

3. Prepare weekly production plan for machines and share with production team.

4. Prepare machine production plans based on job cards and share with planning and sourcing team.

5. Closely co-ordinate with the factory personnel on daily basis for loom / beam planning.

6. Coordinate with the procurement team for yarn requirement.

7. Work out the time and action plan for timely completion of grey products.

8. Maintaining PPC dashboard.

9. Close coordination with QC team dealing with process house.

10. Lead PPC team for implementation and successful closure of ERP related issues / concerns.

11. Updating the data on ERP on regular basis.

12. Planning raw material requirement based on consumption.

13. Coordinate with Factory PPC team for ageing of raw material and stock of grey goods (finished goods) at factory.

14. Raise a concern in case of criticality, delay, production related issues etc- and escalate the same to the next level (to the management)

15. Submit MIS to the Management at regular interval.

16. Delegate the task based on planning to the teammates.

17. Monitor the development / status of the various activities assigned to the teammates.

18. Support team members to resolve any query / issues for smooth operation.

19. Motivate and encourage team members to work and deliver efficiently within given deadlines.

20. Should share relevant documents with the concern departments and keep packed goods within a specific time limit.

Qualification Criterion:

1. Diploma Or Graduate in Textile Engineering

2. 8 to 10 years of experience in Textile (Production Planning)

3. Should have a good understanding of and awareness of Production related activities.

4. ERP Experience will be an added advantage

5. Should have good computer skills and knowledge.

6. Experience in interacting with internal / external customers to understand the requirement.

7. Good Communication (Written & Verbal), strong Negotiation skills, high Interpersonal skill, and Time Management.

8. People Management skills

9. Problem Solving and good analytical skills
