Overhead Crane Electrician (Field Maintenance)

The primary purpose of the job : The purpose of this position is to carry out daily Overhead Crane Electrical maintenance activities associated with the LNG Process Train, Offsite Facilities, Utilities, and Off-Plot Facilities.

Duties & Responsibilities :

- Familiarity with Overhead crane Operation and Maintenance

- Cooperate to implement all candidates must have 5 yrs Maintenance Experience in OIl & gas Plant with Relevant field

- Food & Accommodation provided

- 8 hrs Duty per day and 5 days working in a week

- Work location ; Qatar Gas - Project - Qatar

- Must have ITI or Diploma for Technician level and Engineer Degree for Supervisor level

- Working in accordance with the findings of risk assessments, e.g. using the appropriate control measures;

- The prompt reporting of deficiencies in risk control measures, including those arising from changes in working conditions, staffing levels, and change in equipment conditions.

- Provide feedback about the effectiveness of the implemented corrective and preventive measures

- Reports all Near Misses, Incidents, and Accidents during operation

- To support Company EHS and Quality policies and programs

- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as a member of a team.

- Experience, Knowledge, and skills

- Educational Qualifications; Minimum Higher Secondary School Education with a technical diploma or certificate from a recognized institution

- Relevant Work Experience; Minimum 5 years experience in Oil & Gas or LNG Plant or Petrochemical plant environment as an Electrician with extensive experience operating overhead cranes, practical knowledge and more importantly, familiarity with equipment for about three years depending on model and year of manufacturer.

- English Language Skills: Good written and oral communication skills in English.

- Trade Certificate / Specialized Training Hold a valid certificate of competence.

Job Specific Requirements :

Identifying parts and functionality required for a particular lifting

- Determine the defective parts by proper inspection as per ASME 30.5

- Able to read and fully understand details or references of an overhead crane manual book

- International / standard lifting signal knowledge.

- Has practical knowledge of maintenance and minor troubleshooting of different types of OHC equipment

- Understands lifting hazards identification.

- Candidates must have 5 yrs Maintenance Experience in OIl & gas Plant with Relevant field

Salary : QAR 3,800.00 PM
