Oxit - Senior Technician - Production (4-6 yrs)

As Production Senior Technician, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our production capabilities, streamlining processes, and ensuring the high-quality assembly of our electronic products. This role requires a blend of engineering expertise and practical production experience, making it ideal for an individual who can not only contribute to the design and improvement of hardware solutions but also oversee the operational aspects of production. The Production Engineer will be instrumental in implementing new designs, optimizing production processes, and potentially leading the production team towards achieving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the receipt and quality checks of incoming materials, ensuring compliance with our rigorous standards.
- Lead the assembly of electronic devices, guaranteeing precision and adherence to specifications.
- Conduct comprehensive functional tests on finished products to verify their performance.
- Diagnose and address any production line issues, streamlining processes to prevent future occurrences.
- Spearhead the picking, packing, and shipping processes, ensuring orders are executed flawlessly and efficiently.
- Drive troubleshooting efforts and perform necessary PCBAs reworks.
- Manage production line personnel for daily production.
- Collaborate with the engineering team on electronic hardware development and enhancements.
- Facilitate the prototype creation and testing, leveraging feedback to elevate product and manufacturing quality.
- Promote a culture of cleanliness and safety within the production environment.
- Manage inventory to fulfill production demands without surplus.
Requirements:
- 4-5 years of experience in Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in a production or engineering role.
- Demonstrated proficiency in understanding electronic components and systems.
- A proven track record in troubleshooting and PCBAs rework.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, along with excellent communication skills.
- A team-oriented mindset with the capacity to work collaboratively.
- A detail-focused approach, prioritizing quality and precision.
- Openness to learning and self-improvement, with a keen interest in becoming a production lead.
- Associate degree Electronics Engineering or Mechatronics are highly desirable
Physical Abilities:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain standing for extended periods.
- Skilled in performing precise, repetitive tasks accurately.
- Comfort in a fast-paced setting, which may involve bending, stooping, and twisting.
Schedule:
