Urgently hiring Paint shop Supervisor (Vasai-east)

Experience: 5 to 7 yrs

Industry: Fabrication/Heavy metal

Salary: 25 to 30 k

Qualification: Diploma in Paint technology

Job responsibility:

Responsible for complete paint shop activities right from Surface preparation to achieving the surface finish as per specifications. Delivery of the proper shade, finish and right level of gloss and adhesion of the paint is the prime objective.

Job responsibilities include the following :

- Supervise activities of paint shop, including control and monitor of resources

- Reduce the overhead by optimising paint coverage and reducing waste.

- Train painters to prepare surface and apply coatings to specification and standards laid by quality department

- Select appropriate coatings or prepare them by mixing components according to formulas

- Read and understand mixing formulas and follow written and verbal directions

- Painting schedule as per production priorities

- Maintain record of inventory and plan purchase as per shop consumption.

- Arrange safe storage and Control of issue of the inventory

- Motivate team members to

1 Minimise rejection of the output of the department

2 Focus on all paint process improvements

- Maintain daily log of activities on paint shop and also paint equipment

- Keep work area clean, safe and organized as per QMS. EMS and OHSAS

- Follow company policies and procedures while managing manpower and activities
