Parts Officer - Construction & Mining Equipment (1-3 yrs)
Job Description :
JOB SUMMARY :
- Interface with Service Technicians and ensure their Parts and Accessories needs are being met.
- Identify and evaluate suppliers who can offer replacement parts that match the quality of the originals. They must also have good negotiating skills so they can obtain the best prices for parts. They must be able to maintain stock at a level that enables internal servicing and repair departments to complete their work without delay.
- Knowledge of stock- control systems so that they can effectively record and analyze the movement of parts. They must also maintain accurate records of parts replaced under warranty and details of faulty parts.
- Receive and process parts from distributors, check merchandise received against purchase invoice.
- Take service technicians orders for parts and fill them as fast as possible
- Recommend related Parts and Accessories, which may be required for a job.
- Maintain cleanliness of Parts and Accessories Department and keep inventory neatly stacked and orderly.
- Follow Up with Client Enquiry related with the spare parts of Equipments.
- Maintain all the records of parts inventory details in SAP OR ERP (Online System) .
