PCB Designer (3-5 yrs)
Job Responsibilities :
- Understand Project / Work Scope, deliver quality output / deliverables to meet the expected schedule and timeline
- Understanding Requirements from Requirement Specification Document and convert those into design.
- PCB Designing and related Activities
- Ensuring quality of release of Gerbers, Bill of Material and drawings.
- Generate and maintain PCB specifications
- Ensure PCBs are Designed for Manufacturability and Testing
- Support PCB Engineer on Technical queries regarding PCB Designing Tool
Qualification Experience :
- Bachelor of Engineering Electronics/ Electrical/ Instrumentation or relevant discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in PCB Designing, library development, Schematic
- Prior Working Experience in High Speed Multi-Layer Board design and Power Electronics Board development is preferred
- Preferred Certified on Certified Interconnect Designer (C. I. D) from IPC
Skill Competencies :
- Expert in PCB Designing Tool preferably Allegro or Altium Designer.
- Should individually handle PCB Layout from Component placement to Gerber files
- PCB Footprint creation and validation as per IPC Standards
- Knowledge of Electronic Components, Component Placement.
- PCB Footprint creation and validation as per IPC Standards
- Good understanding of PCB Manufacturing processes, technology and Surface Mount assembly process.
- Good understanding of PCB design and practices to follow for compliance standards like UL, CSA, cUL.
- Hands on Experience in Flex PCB Designing
- Good verbal written Communication skills
- Self-motivated, capable of working with minimal supervision.
- Undertakes work in an efficient and timely manner.
