The Chief Operating Officer :

Job Description :

- Client focused role involved in delivering and controlling 3D design outputs from architectural information through to structural general arrangement and design & detailing in all construction materials.

- Will play a critical role in the leadership for the rapidly developing BIM Services and head and drive structural, design and detailing services operations- organization.

- Supporting company priorities while providing cohesion and fostering collaboration amongst multiple departments and complex initiatives in construction design - both future and existing- in the areas of: Planning & Design; Operations and development.

Responsibilities :

- Support the Directors to ensure highly-productive, day-to-day operations of the production departments

- Serve as an advisor to the Directors, and as a role model/mentor to other Operations staff

- Supervise operations - departmental heads, as follows :

Head of BIM operations; Head of ACS; Head of COE and R&D; Head of CAD Design.

- Help establish and execute organizational priorities on weekly, monthly, and long-term basis.

- Work with senior staff to facilitate effective long term planning and strategy

- Facilitate intra-departmental collaboration to ensure that all departments are communicating effectively and supporting one another as needed.

- Monitor resource and personnel allocation to ensure departments are appropriately resourced.

- Conduct or participate in annual reviews for department heads.

- Project Planning and Contracting (BIM Preferred)

- Ability to work with a wide range of people representing diverse educational backgrounds, levels of training, and career stages.

Keyskills :

- Expert in AutoCAD, Autodesk, REVIT,NAVIS Works and Bentley including experience of integrating BIM with complementary construction disciplines.

- Excellent understanding of construction industry and be familiar with construction details and use of all materials.

- BIM Management experience.

Education : UG: B.Tech/B.E.

PG : M.Tech

Preferably IITian

Experience :

- Minimum 20 years of experience at executive level of management in Planning, organizing and managing work plans of the CADS Design Projects,BIM function within the Design and Detailing, BIM workflow processes and standards for implementation across CADS business environment CADS software and technology,Services,scheduling for CADS Design Project Teams.

- International Onsite experience preferable.
