Pinnacle Infotech Solutions - HVAC Duct Designer (2-8 yrs)
Requirements:
- BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- 2-5 years experience in HVAC & duct design
- Experienced in the design of Heating, Ventilating & Air Conditioning Systems for various types of facilities.
- Experienced in the design of plumbing systems for various types of facilities is a plus.
- Understanding of all three disciplines (mechanical, electrical and plumbing) is a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication, problem solving and analytical skills are required. Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in support of multiple projects is essential.
- Understand work planning and manage design process to the available hours in the work plan.
- Must have excellent computer skills. Exp with AutoCAD, MicroStation, Revit, and SmartPlant 3D highly desired.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with planning project budgets and schedules.
- Review shop drawing submittals.
- - Provide knowledge of HVAC systems operation and equipment selection including air handling units, fans, pumps, boilers, chillers, cooling towers and other ancillary equipment.
- Provide knowledge of the application and specification of HVAC ducts and related products.
- Provide knowledge of design experience application of alternative HVAC Systems (radiant cooling and heating, active and passive chilled beams, displacement ventilation and DOAS systems).
- Provide assistance to the Discipline Engineering Lead and Project Manager in job meetings.
- Provide technical support and help in answering Project Manager (PM) and clients to meet scheduled milestones on multiple projects.
- Prepare one-line diagrams for supply air, exhaust air, return air, chilled water, heating hot water, office zones, laboratory, zones, etc. with limited input from senior staff.
