Pipeline Engineer (2-6 yrs)
Job Description
The successful candidate will perform project engineering duties to assist in the design and construction of oil & gas projects, which includes, but is not limited to, review of design drawings, material specification, technical specifications and project documentation. In addition, the candidate should be able to perform pipe stress analysis, design hydrostatic test plans & design nitrogen displacement support plans and implement the hydrostatic test plan and nitrogen displacement in the field.
Key responsibilities include :
- Participating on project teams in the planning, design and construction administration of oil & gas pipeline and related facilities projects.
- Interaction and project coordination with multidiscipline teams including sub-contractors.
- Assist in work activities and communicating with various municipality, utility and governmental regulating agencies.
- Infrastructure design services including:
1. Pipe Stress Analysis
2. Hydrostatic Test Plans
3. Nitrogen Displacement Support
- Coordinating acquisition of utility information
- Supporting the development of design concepts and criteria for pipeline relocation projects
- Hydraulic, civil and environmental design/review of pipeline relocation projects
- Coordination of contract documents including plans and specifications
- Coordination of permit and approval applications
- Bid phase services support
- Design support during construction
