Piping Material Engineer - Valves Business (4-10 yrs)
Job Description:
- Expedite the release of the engineering MTO as per project schedule.
- To Prepare MR for the Piping Items.
- To Prepare the list of Piping Special Items like Steam Traps, Strainers, Hoses, etc.
- To Prepare the Data Sheets for the Piping Special Items.
- To Perform MTO (Material Take Off).
- To Control the Piping items quantity, monitor the surplus and shortage of Piping Items
- Verify the input MTOs from Engineering and take actions to amend when required.
- Verify the responsibility of supply as per responsibility matrix.
- Identify delta for top-up MTOs.
- Generate gross MTO for procurement.
- When applicable, generate net MTO for procurement.
- Able to provide manual MTO's based on P&ID.
- Provide input to Bulk Report on a weekly basis.
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum of +5 years of working experience in piping materials, valves.
- Experience in FEED, Proposals, Basic and detail design, and construction.
- In-depth knowledge of Puma software.
- Excellent knowledge of piping components, materials, standards, and code calculations used in the offshore industry.
