Pitstop Executive (2-4 yrs)
We are hiring for Pitstop Executive for India's fastest and logistic company.
Pitstop Executive will be responsible for below mentioned activities.
Job Overview :
- You would be a part of the flagship Relay team, first of its kind innovation in the world.
- You would be involved in managing end to end responsibility of shift operations for the Pit stop.
You would be required to work closely with all the other functions to ensure complete ownership in managing the operations on the ground. You would be responsible for managing pilots and ensuring that they are motivated. Few examples of the work streams are :
- Responsible for overall operation of Pitstop
- Pilot (truck driver) planning and availability at the Pitstop for incoming vehicle
- Pilot changeover at the Pitstop within time limit
- Toll cash management
- Vehicle inspection
- Document inspection
- Coordination with documentation team for border related documents
- To ensure Pitstop to Pitstop transit time of the vehicles by ensuring no unscheduled stoppage
- Coordinate with operations and planning control team for the placement of vehicle at client locations
- Upkeep of the Pitstop infrastructure and assets
- Training of the pilots
- Deploying technology to revolutionize the way relay trucking works in the network.
- Develop new processes and provide inputs to the tech team so that the inefficiencies in the system are removed through technology
- Come up with initiatives to optimize cost and efficiencies in the relay network
- Ensuring that the wait time of trucks are within the specified limits
- Ensuring that all vehicles follow the standard SOP while on the routes and required documents are fully adhered to
- Ensure that the lifestyle of truck pilots are fully monitored of and are in line with the overall mission of Our's - Pilot First. Take innovative steps to improve on the same.
- Adoption of technology with the ground team
- Establish SOPs to ensure that standardized processes are created and implemented across the organization
Qualifications :
Education :
- Undergraduate in any degree with 50% marks Throughout.
- Years of experience : 3+ years of work experience in dealing with contractual workforce/labor workforce/truck drivers in construction, mining, manufacturing setup
