Planning Manager - Civil (5-10 yrs)
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and manage detailed project plans and schedules, ensuring alignment with project goals and timely completion
- Conduct comprehensive progress and performance assessments, share detailed reports to update stakeholders on project status, identify variances, and recommend necessary corrective actions
- Oversee and analyze project cash flow, ensuring accurate forecasting, monitoring of expenditures, and alignment with budgetary constraints to maintain optimal financial performance and timely allocation of funds
- Progress update and cash flow integration
- Develop and implement Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques to monitor project performance, ensuring timely identification and resolution of variances between planned and actual progress.
- Review overall project status with the Project Management team and recommend corrective action where necessary
- Liaise with all other departments relevant to project operations and ensure plans are updated
- Participate in project meetings and provide insights on scheduling and planning issues
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on project schedules, progress, and performance for senior management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and master's in Construction Management or a related field
- 5-8 years of experience in project planning/scheduling, with a focus on the real estate construction industry
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) and MS Excel is a must
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PMI-SP) is a plus
- Proven track record of successful project planning and scheduling residential construction projects
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
