Position : Planning Manager

Location : Greater Noida (Project Site)

Relevant Industry Experience

- Minimum 12 years work experience in Planning of Construction.

- 12 years, 6 years should be in Planning of projects related to Railway / Metro Rail / Highway / Sea Ports/ Air Ports/ Hydro Electric Power / Irrigation & Dams.

Overall purpose and objective of this position :

- To Plan, Schedule, Budget and Monitor the construction activities at site within time, cost & profitability.

Major responsibilities / function of this position :

- Preparation of work break - down structure, plan, schedule and Monitoring of the project timelines, checks for any deviations/variations in the scope of work and gives alerts for raising of claims on client, updation of actual status of project at site, corrective actions, helping the site team in placement of work orders from site, MIS, conducting review meetings at site with all vendors/contractors, preparation of minutes of meeting and follow-up action, attending review meetings conducted by client, coordination with Engineering/Design consultants for timely release of construction drawings, processing of sub-contractors' bills, Reallocation of resources if there is a major slippage in the schedule; assessment of materials required for the project, Cost analysis while allocating the resources

- Monitoring the stores - (Inventory in & Inventory out); Monitoring the cost of the project; helps site team in preparing invoice on client; Comparing sub-contractors bills with our billing on client; processing of sub-contractors' final Bills and closing of all contracts.

Reporting Officer : Chief Project Manager / Head Operations

Work experience, special training and / or level of education necessary for this position

- Graduate Engineer (BE Civil - Regular) with minimum 12 years of experience in planning of projects (as mentioned in s.no 3), hands on experience in latest version of Primavera software.

- Specific details about the project

- Construction of two way Railway track from Dadri to Khurja (46 Kms)

- Client: Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited

- Scope of the project: Construction of all Civil Works (Formation, Major & Minor Bridges), shifting of electrical utilities and mechanized track laying

Project duration : 3.5 years

Project value : Rs. 500 Crores approximately
