We have an urgent requirement of "Plant Head" with a leading Paint Industry.

Job Location: Chennai

Exp: 12-15 yrs experience from Chemical/Paint Industry

Reporting to: VP manufacturing

Responsibility :

- To ensure that all activities at the site are carried out in line with the standards/Policies and also in accordance with local Legal requirements.

- To ensure that all activities at the site are aligned with long term and immediate business objectives including Capacity Augmentation This requires co-ordination with VP Manufacturing.

- Build site capability by driving improvements and Capex requirements to meet the business deliverables including planned volumes, by leading the manufacturing, procurement, dispatch, QA and engineering processes at site

- Ensure full compliance with HSE, Legal & Statutory requirements as Operations Head for the site.

- Provide effective leadership to the site management team and other personnel, to enable them to perform at their best and in turn benefiting the organization.

- Drive all manufacturing excellence and other improvement programs through personal involvement.

- Clearly, identify & communicate the roles and responsibilities for each individual at site & monitor performance & development gainst the same.

- Drive the employee engagement in all activities through active involvement and training plan in coordination with the HR.

Interaction Point:

- Prodn, Engg, QA, Stores, EHS, Plant HR/ Plant Admin

- Interaction with various departments like Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and R&D

- External interaction with Local Community, Panchayats, Union etc

Requirement:

- BE/BTECH (Mechanical/Chemical)

- Good listening and communication skills (speaking and writing in Tamil, English, and Hindi) are essential.
