Plant Head - Electricals Business (15-20 yrs)
Plant Head - Electricals Business - Mumbai Extended Suburb
Our customer is known name in Electrical's Business & primarily in the B2B space. This requirement is for their Switch Gear Business . The Plant head will be responsible for Production, Quality, Supply Chain and Commercial in order to fulfill the organizational and functional goals on time. The position will report into the Business Head.
Requirements :
- B.E (Electrical/Mechanical) with min 15 years of experience.
- Must currently be in a Plant Head Role within the same segment (SwitchGear) or allied segments (Transformers, Meters, Rectifiers, Breakers etc)
- Must have managed scale & revenue
Key Responsibilities :
- Formulate monthly revenue plan, which is in line with the BU revenue plan.
- Monitoring & controlling Inventory within limit. Decide purchasing strategy to control inventory.
- Adopting new ways and means of operational excellence that translates in getting higher productivity, better quality & lower cost.
- To ensure the production as per plan & meet monthly/yearly revenue target.
- To ensure productivity of each workmen & work station/Machine as per the set standard/ norm.
- To ensure that all the functions of the BU work cordially in order to achieve the annual target.
- To ensure discipline is maintained in shop as per company rule.
- To ensure all manufacturing expenses & material cost are within budget.
- To set & ensure safe health and safety practices are followed.
- Maintaining good working environment and good housekeeping.
- To ensure optimum utilization of resources available.
- Innovation of new methods & Equipment's to facilitate smooth production & improve productivity.
- To plan capital budget & provide support for sales budget.
- Ensuring on Time & Quality delivery to customers.
- Ensure legal compliance for local statutory bodies
- Supervising and motivating a team of workers. Reviewing the performance of subordinates and giving them constructive feedback.
- Identifying training needs. Training to shop floor personnel to bring awareness of the product & improve their process handling methodology & quality.
- Process engineering, Vendor development, Plant Up gradation & application engineering support for Indian & overseas customers.
- Creation of new methods & standardization of all the key processes in product manufacturing.
