Plant Head - Mid Size Machine tool Manufacturing

Our Client is a leading Manufacturing of Machine tools, Precision & Ball Screws & Bearings and its a mid Sized manufacturing unit, They are looking for a professional who can head the plant operations :

2. Location : Bengaluru

4. Job Responsibilities : You will be responsible for entire plant operations including HR / Supply Chain /Quality / Procurement & Factory Operations .

- Design and establish the process of workflow in Production Department

- Handle the Indian Market and few customers from sending offers to till execution.

- Establishing the process for reporting systems in the company for Departments like Marketing, Planning and production.

- Planning of weekly & daily production schedule based on demand from customers.

- Make sure that 100% safety adherence in shop floor operation.

- Coordination with the Maintenance Department for breakdown issues to improve the MTTR and MTBF.

- Carry out Kaizen activity and suggestion and support the team to generate it utilization of 4M (Man, Machine, Material and Method) resources.

- Conducting regular meetings weekly with the technical team and sales team to discuss scheduling of work in a planned manner including distribution of resources such as Labor, Tools, and Materials ec.

- Attending meetings with customers to discuss future and existing projects.

- Coordinate with the quality department regularly to improve the quality systems continuously.

- Responsible for the 5S and safety on the shop floor.

- Skill matrix update and training of employees.

- To implement a comprehensive TPM program.

- To assist the Department Manager to maintain a budget according to plan and track monthly expenditure.

Candidate background : You should have handled small mid sized manufacturing plant or in a big company you should be working at AGM/ DGM/ GM level, You should have good knowledge / experience at least either in Precision / Bearings / Ball Screw / Machine Tools etc.
