Plant Manager/Head - Automobile (15-20 yrs)
The Client :
A global manufacturer and supplier of automobile parts, components and accessories HQ in Tamilnadu.
Job Purpose:
- Responsible for the overall Plant - P&L, Operations, Quality and People Management.
Indicative Deliverables:
- Responsible for the overall functioning and operational efficiency of the plant
- Managing marketing operations with a view to achieve business (sales volume & market share) objectives and ensure top line and bottom line profitability.
- Establishing short term / long term budgets and designing business plans / strategies for maximizing profitability & revenue generation
- Oversees and directs daily production plant operations including production and manufacturing, maintenance, engineering support, safety, regulatory compliance, distribution and warehousing
- Ensure Quality standards are in line with the Customer requirement
- Establishes, maintains and expands relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Responsible for successful operations planning and budgetary forecasts; analyse tracks & reports on operational objectives, production targets, process improvements and operational strategy
- Responsible for labour management and grievance handling

- Strong problem solving ability with customers, personnel and operations

- Proven people management skills
- Proven background in supporting a strong Safety, Health, Environment culture
- People productivity management
Key Experience Required:
- Min 15 Years of Experience in Auto/Auto Ancillary Industry
- Must have headed a plant for at least 2 - 3 years in Auto Industry/OEM Companies
