Job summary :
- The Plant Manager's primary responsibilities include leading the production and maintenance staff
- The daily management and coordination of plant operations including production, logistics and maintenance while ensuring compliance with all labour, safety, environmental and corporate policies and regulations.
- This position plays an integral part in plant operations, special projects, and has responsibility developing and maintaining a motivated staff and for developing and achieving budgetary and production targets.

- Develop and manage the strategies, plans and budgets as agreed with the CMD to achieve the organizational and financial objectives of the company.
- In order to achieve the overall organizational and financial objectives by assuming responsibility for setting, and controlling budgets, targets and objectives (KPIs), providing regular reports on progress to the CMD, highlighting variances from these
- To ensure targets and objectives within each area of the business are met it is important to ensure good people management practices in line with the Company's HR policies.
- Effectively manage labour requirements/manpower planning, production planning, stock management, instrumentation calibration, plant modifications and develop innovative systems and processes utilizing all available technology
- The ability to effectively manage all employees under the manager's control and to effectively liaise with other managers within the group in order to meet Company business objectives
- The ability to manage all functions within the Company, whilst remaining focused on - the bottom line- and the overall business objectives and strategy.
- Ensuring effective relationships, both internally and externally, are built and maintained in order to meet the short and long-term objectives of the companies.
Key skills and experience :
- B.E - Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 10 to 15 year experience of managing a team in a reputed production environment
- Familiarity with gathering and analyzing production, quality and maintenance data
- Strong interpersonal skills, the manager must be able to speak with employees, other department managers and senior management.
- Understanding of the management principles, including finance, health and safety, quality and HR.
- Ensure compliance to company policies procedures and standards
- Capacity to manage change - identify problems, their causes and practical solutions
- Critical thinking and Intellectual capabilities to analyses difficult business problems, getting to the root cause of the problems and generating workable solutions in line with objectives
- Ability to face production deadlines and shipping dates.
- Ensure that manufacturing equipment is maintained, supported and available.
- Proactively engage with equipment suppliers to ensure that their expertise contributes to the effective operation of production equipment and resolution of problems
