Plant Unit cum Project Head - FMCG (15-25 yrs)
Our client is one of the leading FMCG Company with a turnover of more than Rs.1200 Crores, The client also exports there products to various countries.
Position : Plant Cum Project Head
Location : Raichur (Karnataka)
Qualification: B.Tech /B.E (Mechanical (or) Electrical)
Job Role & Responsibilities -
- The incumbent should be able to speak Kannada
- You should be aged below 45 years and the incumbent should have 15 years of manufacturing and setting up green field project experience from concept to commissioning
- The incumbent should be able to speak English, Kannada and Hindi
- The incumbent should be able to run a plant independently with multi products and brands
- Experience within the process or manufacturing (FMCG) would be preferred
- Deep knowledge in project and operations
- Should be aware of the government rules and regulations on setting up a new facility
- Self-starter, very self-reliant and capable of operating with minimum supervision
- Should have strong and high ethics and integrity
- Knowledge on green building concepts, energy efficient engineering, and process design.
Job Purpose : The project head is responsible for planning and execution of the manufacturing facility in Raichur. The incumbent has to provide project leadership, coordinate with management, project stakeholders, and local government bodies, to ensure project is established and made operational.
Project Responsibility-
- Responsible to develop a detailed project plan and execute design standards in line with approved project layout
- Ensure all project expenditure is properly controlled, monitored, forecast and complete in line with project plan
- Establish project teams, coordinate activities of multiple disciplines, ensure the efficient, cost utilization of resources
- Coordinate with internal resources and vendors for the flawless execution of the project
- Prepare necessary papers for onsite work
- Liaison with local and respective government bodies to ensure compliance, health, safety and environment,
Operations -
- Planning production, work schedule, production activities, machine maintenance plans
- Planning, formulating, organizing and controlling and direct production activities
- Observing the effective maintenance of safety rules and standards in the plant
- Supervising quality standards and enforcing quality-control programs
- Working with head office various departments to fulfil the functioning of the plant
- Working with Labour, transport, and various vendors through respective managers and supervise all activities according to general factory policies
- Review overall performance of the unit
