Job Title : Platform System Architect - Electrical Vehicle Architecture

Job Description :

As a Platform System Architect for Electrical Vehicle Architecture (EVA), you will play a crucial role in developing and defining the vehicle lifecycle requirements for the EVA platform. This platform comprises electronic hardware and base software elements, along with their interfaces, on which various features will be deployed. Your responsibilities will include understanding and designing the platform capabilities necessary to support product owners (POs) and commodity delivery teams.

In this role, you will define the system architecture for vehicle lifecycle components and review delivered systems to ensure design and quality goals are met. You will also establish and manage a set of Platform Architecture rules governing the vehicle lifecycle, ensuring harmonization and optimization of all changes at the vehicle level through collaboration. Additionally, you will develop and maintain the Vehicle Lifecycle Platform definition using design tools such as Dassault 3DX Traceable Requirements Management and Dassault Magic Systems of Systems Architect.

Key Performance Indicators :

- Drive all deliverables to appropriate maturity by vehicle program gateways to robustly define hardware and software platform requirements.

- Architect and validate all deliverables in line with long-term EVA goals and design rules.

- Align and document Vehicle Lifecycle definition across Networks, Power Architecture, Energy Management, and Diagnostics.

- Model and record content in design tools, generating and issuing architecture diagrams and descriptions for each program.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities :

- Ensure robust delivery of the Vehicle Lifecycle.

- Deliver Vehicle Lifecycle System Engineering Artefacts with quality and robustness.

- Drive adherence to EVA Principles and Design Rules for robustness in architected systems.

- Manage feedback from delivered components to enhance quality and robustness.

- Ensure availability of optimal design tools for Vehicle Lifecycle design and documentation.

- Review new architectural changes and assess their impact on the Vehicle Lifecycle system.
