2. Role Overview:
- Position Title: Senior BIM Manager
- Location: India (Bangalore, Pune, DelhiNCR, Hyderabad, w/ good Scan to BIM pool)
- Department: BIM
- Reporting To: Director - India
3. Key Responsibilities:
BIM Implementation and Strategy :
- Develop and implement Scan/point cloud to BIM standards, protocols and workflows for the organization including effective planning and project tracking.
- Define and communicate BIM execution plans for projects, ensuring alignment with Plowman Craven standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with project teams to establish BIM project goals, milestones, and deliverables.
Team Leadership and Training :
- Manage and lead a team of BIM specialists, coordinating efforts to meet project requirements.
- Provide training and support to enhance BIM proficiency across the organization.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation, building a positive working experience within the BIM team.
Modelling and Coordination (Scan/Point Cloud to BIM) :
- Implement model quality control and quality assurance processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with project standard. (QAQC)
- Implement proper project management tools to track and enhance the productivity and performance of the project.
- Oversee the creation, maintenance, and coordination of 3D models throughout the project phases.
- Ensure integration of various disciplines' models (architectural, structural, MEP) for clash detection and resolution.
Collaboration and Communication :
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project teams, UK project leads, Project Managers, client and other stakeholders.
Conduct regular coordination meetings to address BIM-related issues and ensure alignment with Project goals.
4. Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, build environment or related field, advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in BIM Management and implementation, preferably within the geospatial industry.
- Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and others Strong leadership and people skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Strong people management, communication and client management abilities.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices of BIM.
- Ability to manage international client relationships and drive performance improvements.
