Portfolio Leader - Layout & Piping (24-30 yrs)
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible as Approval Authority for following key deliverables:
- Design Basis for Piping
- Standard Drawings & Standard Specifications
- PMS & VMS
- Schematic Drawings for Pipe Racks, Structures, Shelters etc.
- Preliminary routing for major lines including Isometric as required. FEED stage Critical Line list for Stress.
- FEED stage Equipment Layout & 3D Modeling
- Stress Analysis for major critical line routes
- MTOs and SORs for Material and Construction Work cost estimations
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and organize the FEED engineering activities related to Layout and Piping through the assigned resources (SMEs, subcontractors, tools, etc.) providing all needed explanation / support
- Monitor, control and approve engineering deliverables for Layout and Piping for FEED projects, to ensure a high level of quality and within schedule.
- Identify risks and opportunities related to the engineering activities identifying and implementing the required mitigation actions.
- Interfacing with Specialist Suppliers such as Critical Spring supports, Expansion joints etc. as applicable.
- Interfacing with Local Regulatory authorities if required
- Exploring alternate technical solutions and guiding the team members for evaluate Value Improvement options to optimize the Total Installed Cost.
- Participating in key interdisciplinary reviews such as P&I-D Review, HAZID, HAZOP, Plot Plan Review, Building Review, Constructability Review, Value Engineering Workshop etc.
Key relationships:
Internal to organization: Project Task Force and other Matrix stakeholders, Subject Matter Experts (SME)
External to organization: Owner, PMC, Vendors
