Power Electronics Engineer - Power Electronics (2-5 yrs)
Job Title: Power Electronics Engineer
Function: R&D
Reporting To: Manager / Head of Department
Base Location: Piplod, Surat
Education: BE/ B.Tech - Electricals
Experience (in years): min 3 years of experience in Power Electronics
Preferred industry of work experience: Electronics/Electricals, Automobile
Salary: Upto 9.5 LPA (Including PF)

Role Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Write embedded software for power electronics projects
- Hardware design and development
- Hardware prototyping and debugging
- Hardware Testing and Evaluation
- Assist with agency certification and EMI testing
- Assist with product body design Engineering
- Assist with Agency for Power electronics product development firm
- Handling project of power electronics segment and generating action plan and results report according
- Documentation on the whole project according to an action plan
- Experience in agency certification processes: EMC, UL, FCC, CE
- Experience in power electronics PCB layout and Power Components alternatives
- Lighter Experience in Product body design engineering
- Possess good time management skills
Key Competencies
- Coursework focus: Power Electronics, Motor Control, dimming controls, Power Switching
- Platform experience: ARM, DSP, PIC, Diptrace, Altium
- Fundamental understanding of various control strategies and conversion topologies
- Experience writing controls software for high power devices (e.g. inverters, power supplies, motor drives)
- Creativity essential
- Power devices like Thyristors, MosFET- s, IGBT's etc,
- Use of test equipment like DMM- s, DSO- s, etc
- Willing to travel, except for debugging or trials of project on site
- Interface circuitry like drivers, isolators, op-amps, gates, etc
