Practice Specialist - Operations - Product Development And R&D (8-16 yrs)
Job description:
- Lead product development practice of Tier 1 Management Consulting Company of the World and Global product development network while serving as Practice Specialist/Expert in individual capacity to enhance margin and market share for engaging clients.
- Operations management especially product development domain.
- End-to-end optimization including customer insight analysis, value-cost optimization, product portfolio mapping, product and packaging design optimization,
- Inventory analysis, Operations efficiency improvement, Tear-Down-Research (TDR), Benchmarking, Reverse Engineering, Clean-sheet Costing, Revenue sharing costing, DFMEA. Technology and IP control, Project planning, Product planning, Innovation management, Operations footprint optimization, Purchasing and supplier management, RPT, Design /Product Validation, SCR analysis, functional capability and competency mapping.
- Playing a major role in design and development & cost reduction (for the product line of Li-ion batteries/harness/ electrical system/ ECU/BMS/EMS mfg.) as per the requirement of engaging client.
Key Skills:
- Bachelors/Masters in electrical engineering from tier 1 Institutions will be most preferred.
- 8-16 years of overall experience in the electrical sub-system.
- Experience in OEM interfaces like techno-marketing or application engineering.
- Deep understanding of electrical systems from design and cost perspective. Topography planning and deployment, the electrical design-safety experience is a definite plus.
- Technology roadmap understanding for electrical sub-system, especially in the field of EV and AV.
- Experience in competition benchmarking and product costing.
- Willing to extensive travel in India and overseas.
- Problem Solver, Solution Oriented professional always ready to figures and solutions with least availability for data and resources.
