President - Mill Operations - Textile (20-25 yrs)
This position is next to the Board of Directors of the organization and thus highly important.
The portfolio demands the following competencies and responsibilities to handle and deliver :
- Overall in charge of the Mills Operations
- Also oversee the Sales & Marketing operations including HR.
- Should be able to achieve the KPI of all departments reporting in to this role.
- Devise and implement the AOP of the financial year taking into consideration of all Capital expenses.
- This includes setting challenging & realistic goals & objectives for all the functions / departments reporting to him.
- Build cohesiveness & coordination amongst the various functions / departments reporting to him and achieve the Yearly Budget.
- Will be involved in the Raw Material Procurement - Quality, Pricing & On-Time Delivery
- Will be responsibility of Quality of output from the 2 Mills & - On Time Delivery- to Customers
- Will be responsible for maintaining the agreed level of efficiency of operation /running of the 2 mills (productivity, profitability, Quality & Output)
- Will be responsible for achievement of the overall month on month production target of the 2 mills.
- Will be responsible for maintaining the overall cost efficiency of Plant Operations of the 2 Plants.
- Develop & Maintain good relationship with Key Suppliers, Contractors, Sub-Contractors & other key external stakeholders
- Keeps a close watch & manages the Production Cost well within the budgeted figures.
- Motivates & Drives Production, Safety & Process improvement initiatives in the 2 Production Units, that reports to him.
- Build & Maintain excellent relationship with all existing Customers
- Work closely with the Sales & Marketing Team in identifying new Markets / Customers (India & Overseas).
- Will be totally responsible for the quality of customers acquired by the Sales & Marketing team.
- Will be totally responsible for collection of payment from customers.
- Will be responsible for expanding the business with existing customers as well as expanding the customer base both within India & overseas.
- Will work closely with both Operations as well as Sales & Marketing Teams ensure high level of coordination between the 2 departments / functions
- Support the Human Resources function by contributing to talent acquisition & talent development areas.
- Is responsible for the overall financial health of the organization, which includes maintaining positive cash flow & maintenance of healthy financial ratios.
- Represent the organization in all the Professional Forums to build brand visibility.
- Act as a role model to the teams reporting to him by following all the policies & procedures of the company.
- Has the ability to strategize the future growth of the organization (production, revenue & expansion) - 5 to 10 years horizon.
- Has the ease & comfort of building & managing relationships at various levels of the company, from a contract shop floor employee to the Chairman
The desired candidate should be a :
- BE (Mechanical), BE (Textile technology) from a reputed institution
- 20 Years of Experience, of which at least 10 years in the textile Industry, Significant portion of the experience must be in handling Operations.
