Principal Engineer - Electronic Hardware Design (6-10 yrs)
Short Description:
To be responsible for hardware design aspects of the assigned product(s) during all stages of the product's life cycle. To be responsible for driving hardware specification, circuit design, component selection, verification, validation, documentation, certification, and problem resolution activities.
Job Description :
- Will be responsible for hardware design aspects of the assigned product(s) during all stages of the product's life cycle.
- Will be responsible for driving hardware specification, circuit design, component selection, verification, validation, documentation, certification and problem resolution activities.
- Will act as a single point of contact / escalation point for internal customers (such as System Engineering function and Manufacturing Engineering function) for all technical matters related to the assigned product.
- Will interact with operational/leadership teams of vendors.
- Will contribute to process and infrastructure creation by leading execution of planned changes regarding the same.
Skills :
- Expertise in all aspects of hardware design of embedded electronic controller products, including circuit design and analysis, PCB design, thermal considerations, and selection of couplers/casings.
- Understanding of considerations in design of embedded electronic controller products intended to be used in large volumes.
- Experience with leading a team of engineers for design of electronic products. - Excellent analytical ability; Good written and verbal communication skills.
- [Preferred but not mandatory] Exposure to products incorporating power electronics and/or products for the automotive industry.

Educational Qualification : Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electronics or allied Engineering
