Lead and oversee process engineering activities for offshore platforms (fixed and floating) and onshore LNG facilities, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance across all project phases from concept to handover.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership & Oversight:

- Ensure technical competence of the process team through training and upskilling.

- Review design documents for compliance with project requirements, codes, and standards.

- Participate in critical project reviews (e.g., HAZOP, SIL, P&ID reviews).

Project Management:

- Allocate and forecast process engineering resources.

- Manage project changes and ensure quality assurance of deliverables.

- Enforce safety in design and compliance with OH&S procedures.

Stakeholder Coordination:

- Conduct technical reviews and manage engagement with stakeholders.

- Support the Department Manager in change order reviews and proposal estimates.

Team Development & Resource Management:

- Define KPIs, assess competency gaps, hire resources, and connect with team members for performance enhancement.

Skills & Experience Required:

Technical Expertise:

- Proficient in simulation tools (e.g., HYSYS, PRO/II, Flarenet) and automation tools (SmartPlant, AVEVA).

- Experience in developing process deliverables like PFDs, P&IDs, heat/mass balances, and equipment specifications.

- Knowledge of industry codes and standards.

Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.

- 20+ years in process engineering, including 10 years in offshore/LNG conceptual studies, FEED, and detailed design.

- 10+ years in the oil and gas industry.

Soft Skills:

- Strong communication (written and verbal) and report-writing abilities.

- Candidates should have demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and process improvements with extensive experience across all project phases with expertise in offshore/LNG facilities.
