Process Design Engineer - Environmental (2-7 yrs)
Job Description
Reporting to GL (Environmental)
Responsibilities and tasks
- Process design and engineering
- Calculation and preparation of instrument specification, control valve and safety valve inputs
- Calculation and preparation of equipment specification
- Line sizing and line list
- Summaries (preparation of flare load summary/ catalyst summary/ utility summary etc)
- Operating manual
- Other process design tasks
Qualification: Chemical engineer
Experience range: 2-5 years of working experience
Basic criteria for short-listing:
- Design experience - sulfur/sulfuric acid plants preferred
- Good exposure in design or operation with wider knowledge of ammonia operations and good academic record
Personal qualities:
- Hardworking and sincere
- Reliable (delivers quality output on time)
- Good at taking initiatives
- Proactive
- Has good oral and written communication skills
