Job Role : Agriculture Commodity Procurement & Sourcing of agriculture & Allied Commodity

Job Description :

- Candidate will be responsible for complete operations of purchasing, sourcing of Agriculture & Allied commodities [Seeds Spices & Fruits / Vegetable etc.] from various sources with cost effective proposition as per domestic, international and export/import requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

- Explore reliable sourcing partnership and build long-term relationship for continual supply management

- Ensure locating of each commodity availability/produce, sourcing, contracting and purchasing of Agriculture & Allied Commodities

- Lead robust sourcing plan with tactical negotiations skill & communications with partners

- Manage agriculture commodity export requirements, national & international level requirements and procure in desired quantity and quality

- Create sourcing & buyer network & database of Farmers, Cooperative, Farm Produce Organization, Mandi & SME's

- Ensure direct procurement from farmers, FPO, Mandi with effective pricing for Organization and Farmers

- Comply with purchase requirements of commodities - like quality inspection - physical & technical specifications before execution of purchase order, invoicing or any agreement with provider

- Guide farmers in establishing international standards in producing farm products with high yield and how organic farming is beneficial for them

- Ensure packaging of commodities as per guidelines, handling of warehouse and dispatch as per schedule

- Monitor, coordinate & track supply of commodity

- Manage record & documentation of commodities and any required certification for commodities

- Manage end to end supply chain and sourcing processes for business scalability

- Support sales team on proposal and any new opportunities

- And any other duties assigned during course of time

Desired Candidate Profile :

- Graduate & Post Graduate in Agriculture with hands on experience

- Experience in establishing a network of farmers or mandi and creating value to all the stakeholders

- Experience in operations of Agriculture & Allied Commodities with effective cost proposition from multiple channel

- Moderate travel required within the country and remote places
