Procurement Associate - Vendor Management (6-7 yrs)
Responsibilities Assumed :
- Communicating and negotiating with the vendors
- Sending RFPs (Request for proposals) to the approved vendors
- Developing, leading and executing purchasing strategies
- Tracking and reporting key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
- Crafting negotiation strategies and closing deals with optimal terms
- Partnering with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation
- Seeking and partnering with reliable vendors and suppliers
- Determining quantity and timing of deliveries
- Monitoring and forecasting upcoming levels of demand
- Maintaining checks and balances for L1 activities, SLA Management
Prerequisites:
- Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management
- Solid judgement along with decision making skills
- Good communication and inter personal skills
- Hands-on experience with purchase softwares
- Eye for detail
- Proactive attitude
Education : Any graduate
Work Experience : 5-6 years of experience in purchase and supply chain management with supervisory role in a mid- size organization
Compensation : Commensurate with industry standards
