Procurement Manager - Agri Business

- Establish and drive adoption of e-sourcing- Setup tools, processes, principles, KPIs and drive end to end procurement activities for the pilot categories

- Establish best in class procurement practices to optimize total delivered costs in the select categories

- Constantly evaluate the supplier network and manage churn (Identify and add new suppliers, release nonperforming suppliers etc)

- Ensure robust supplier performance including continuous improvement via Supplier Relationship Management

- Develop forward-looking category strategy based on business and product needs, supply market dynamics, and technological changes in marketplace

- Monitor market prices accurately to build price forecasts and risk mitigation plans

- Drive value engineering opportunities including alternatives to current category specifications/ demand parameters

Position Requirements :

- 2 - 6 years of work experience in procurement with focus on agri-commodities

- Strong track record of implementing procurement processes like - e sourcing/reverse auction / should cost modeling especially in procuring agri-commodities

- Experience in commodity market cost monitoring and risk management/mitigation

- Proven experience of driving innovations in procurement including collaborative optimizations with suppliers

- Strong negotiation skills including understanding of key cost components and drivers

- Advanced analytical skills (minimum expectation - to be well versed with excel)

- Good interpersonal skills including experience in driving large scale change management and implementation

- Prior exposure to Agriculture and Agribusiness preferred, but not mandatory

- Willing to travel extensively across the country
