Procurement Manager - Luxury Retail

Experience - 5-15 years

Location - Mumbai

Must-Have :

- More Focused on Civil that is Mechanical, electrical & plumbing(MEP) and Maintenance, repair & operations. (MRO)

- Luxury real estate/real estate or luxury hotel domains.

- Must have a strong vendor network in India.

- International procurement experience is good to have.

- The capability of sourcing materials is a must.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or related field

- 5+ years of experience in civil, MEP and MRO procurement, with a focus on luxury real estate and hotel domains

- Strong vendor network in India for civil, MEP and MRO materials and products

- Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment

- Experience with international procurement and sourcing is a plus

- Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement activities

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and ability to multitas

Responsibilities :

- Handle procurement activities for civil, MEP, and MRO materials and services in the luxury real estate/hotel domains.

- Build and maintain a strong vendor network in India for sourcing materials and services at competitive rates.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams like Project Managers, Engineers, and Quality teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

- Negotiate contracts with suppliers and ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.

- Monitor supplier performance and take necessary actions to resolve any issues.

- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to improve procurement efficiency.

- Keep up-to-date with market trends, new products, and supplier innovation.

- Communicate effectively with stakeholders across different levels and provide regular updates on procurement activities.

- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and ensure all documentation is complete and maintained.

- Handle any other responsibilities assigned by management in procurement-related activities.

Good to Have :

- International procurement experience.

- Develop and maintain a strong vendor network in India for civil, MEP and MRO materials and products

- Procure civil, MEP and MRO materials and products in a timely and cost-effective manner while ensuring quality and compliance with company standards

- Conduct market research to identify new vendors and products that can improve quality, reduce cost, and increase efficiency

- Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors to achieve the best possible terms and conditions

- Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and products

- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement activities

- Manage and track procurement activities to ensure adherence to budget and schedule

- Provide regular reports on procurement activities and performance metrics to management

- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in procurement, particularly related to civil, MEP and MRO procurement

- Liaise with international vendors to procure materials and products as needed

- Other duties as assigned by management
