Procurement Specialist - Agriculture Machinery
Experience : 5-10 Years
Must-Have :
- Procurement, purchase order, supply planning, with exposure in Automotive or Farm Machinery or Automobile or Farm machinery Components
Key Responsibilities :
- Ensure that all Purchase Order recommendations are approved and converted to purchase orders in an efficient and timely manner.
- Execute the process from PO calculation and creation, confirmation PO data, securing timely delivery of right product, at right time, in right place
- Execute the WCC as per the agreed calendar and supporting the reporting requirements to track team performance
- Expedite purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Work with Demand Planning and Product Management teams to raise exceptional Purchase Orders to support product launches and promotional activity
- Ensure timely delivery of stock for product launches and promotional activities
- Defer Surplus purchase orders to avoid Overstock
- Creation and maintenance of ASN (Advanced Shipping Notifications) in SPX system, for 3rd party deliveries. This will include ASN per Pallet, for nominated vendors
- First point of contact for all queries linked to Goods Receipt process for warehouses
- Liaise with Imports team to share ASN reference and arrange inbound shipments
- Work proactively to understand root cause of supply issues and collaborate with Supply Planning Manager to continuously improve processes
- Escalate inbound supply issues to Supply Planning Manager
- Review and understand Forward Plan in Optimiza and challenge forecast to resolve anomalies
- Keep records relating to the key stages of each procurement activity
- Ensure data integrity with our system landscape
- Review Planner KPI performance to drive improvement in individual performance
- Be the first port of call to resolve all critical supplier issues and work with supply planning management to implement strategies to avoid issues reoccurring
- Support the review, development and implementation of processes and procedures necessary to ensure a continuously smooth supply chain
- Positively commit to, and undertake any agreed Training program.
- Any other reasonable duties as directed by your Director/Manager.
