Product Design Engineer - AutoCAD (4-8 yrs)

Job Description :


Exciting role at IH during pre-study to evaluate & develop product requirements to develop new products from concept to design to documentation, tools & testing as per stake holding country's requirements & suit the specification boundaries.

Responsibilities :

- To develop new products on doors, windows, sliders & Fa- ade categories.

- Concept & design detailing to suit the product environmental performance & functional requirement as per country specifics

- Concept to prototype the products with detail sequential drawings for fabrication, installation & testing with support of AutoCAD/Inventor tools.

- Develop tools to eazy of fabrication/ jigs/punch tools suitable for the product to improvise the fabrication process.

- Initiate extrusions, develop plastic parts, gaskets & molds, to test the product as per ASTM/EN/NBR/CP standards for air, water & structural performances.

- Develop cad blocks/inventor models for estimation tools with Schueco norms

- Train the country specific technical /sales /service teams on products, limitations,capabilities, additional extension possibilities etc

Who can apply :

- Anyone with B.E / B.Tech with Civil/ Mechanical engineering background with Design experience.

- Architectural degree with Design of fa- ade & fenestration experiences.

Ideal Candidate :

- Technically Sound knowledge with fa- ade & fenestration products/industry.

- Additional advantage in case with Fa- ade & fenestration accessories exposure

- Expert on Design tools - AutoCAD/Inventor

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Fluent in English)

- Confident and Proactive attitude

- Curious to learn and ready to apply thoughts into action
