Product Designer - Handicrafts - AutoCAD (2-6 yrs)
Furniture export House is Hiring Furniture DESIGNER TO JOIN OUR CREATIVE Team.
The ideal candidate will be a self - starter, motivated individual with the capacity to create brilliant creative solutions & deliverables, have a keen eye for detail, and must be able to understand creative requirements & adhere to the same in a fast - paced environment.
Responsibilities and duties
- Responsible for all commercial and residential furniture design
- Overseeing all design products from conception to delivery
- Prepare and participate in client presentations independently.
- Designs furniture for manufacture, according to the knowledge of design trends, offerings of competition, production costs, the capability of production facilities. Calculate dimensions and allowances with accurate precision.
- Giving guidelines to junior designers and draftsmen.
Desired profile (required experience, skills and qualification)
1. A degree in interior design.
2. 3 + year of work experience in auto cad 3 D, 3D Max, Google Sketch -up, Photoshop, catalogue making.
3. In- depth knowledge of furniture, fabrics, colour, design, and finishes
- Experienced Autocad Designer with a demonstrated history of working in the furniture industry. Proficient in handling software like AutoCAD, Rhino 3D, 3D Studio Max, CorelDRAW, and Adobe Photoshop. Strong Art and Design professional
- We are looking for someone who can re-interpret age old craft forms into pieces of furniture and lighting that are intriguing, nuanced and evocative.
- We have been commissioning overseas design studios for our designs and are now trying to develop some pieces in-house.
